Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your YESKAMO security camera.

1. Charging the Camera

Before initial use, fully charge the camera's built-in battery using the provided USB cable. Connect the USB cable to the camera's charging port and a 5V/2A power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

2. App Installation and Account Registration

  1. Download the "CloudEdge" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
  2. Open the app and register a new account using your email address.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the registration process.

3. Adding the Camera to the App

  1. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. (5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported).
  2. Open the CloudEdge app and tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
  3. Select "Battery Camera" or the appropriate camera type.
  4. Power on the camera. The indicator light should flash blue, indicating it's ready for pairing.
  5. Follow the in-app instructions to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network. This usually involves scanning a QR code generated by the app with the camera's lens.
  6. Once connected, name your camera and complete the setup.

4. Mounting the Camera and Solar Panel

Choose a suitable location for installation. The camera should have a clear view of the area you wish to monitor, and the solar panel should receive direct sunlight for several hours a day.

  1. Camera Mounting:
    • Attach the removable base to the desired wall or ceiling using the provided mounting screws.
    • Securely attach the camera to the base.
    • Adjust the camera angle to cover the desired surveillance area.
  2. Solar Panel Mounting:
    • Mount the solar panel in a location that receives maximum direct sunlight throughout the day.
    • Connect the solar panel cable to the camera's charging port. Ensure the connection is secure and weatherproof.

1. Live View and Pan/Tilt Control

Open the CloudEdge app and select your camera to access the live view. You can control the camera's pan (horizontal) and tilt (vertical) movements directly from the app interface.

2. 2K QHD Resolution and Digital Zoom

3. Night Vision Modes

The camera offers three night vision modes, including automatic color night vision when ambient light is low.

  • Infrared Night Vision: Standard black and white vision in complete darkness.
  • Color Night Vision: Activates built-in spotlights to provide full-color video at night.
  • Smart Night Vision: Automatically switches between infrared and color night vision based on detected motion or light conditions.

4. PIR Motion Detection and Alerts

6. Flexible Storage Options

The camera supports two storage methods for recorded footage:

  • MicroSD Card Storage: Insert a MicroSD card (up to 128GB, not included) into the camera's designated slot for local storage.

  • Battery Health: While solar-powered, extreme weather conditions or prolonged periods without sunlight may require occasional manual charging via the USB port.
