4. Operation

4.1 Dual Switch Functionality

The Warrior Mini3 features both a side switch and a tactical tail switch for versatile operation.

  • Side Switch: Used for general illumination, turning the light on/off, and cycling through brightness modes (Moonlight, Low, Medium, High). Press and hold for Moonlight mode.
  • Tactical Tail Switch: Provides quick access to Turbo and Strobe modes for tactical situations. A half-press activates High mode, and a full press activates Turbo. Double-press for Strobe.

4.2 Pre-Activated Proximity Sensor

The flashlight is equipped with a proximity sensor to prevent accidental high-output activation when obstructed at close range. If the light is accidentally switched to High/Turbo mode while close to an object, the sensor will automatically lower the output to prevent overheating or damage. However, if the light approaches objects with High/Turbo mode already in use, the sensor will not hinder the intended output.

Two images illustrating the proximity sensor: one showing output reduction when obstructed at close range, and another showing no reduction when approaching an object with high output already active.

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Warrior Mini3, keep it clean and dry. Wipe the body with a soft cloth. Avoid dropping the flashlight or exposing it to extreme temperatures.

5.2 Tail Switch Maintenance (NMT)

The tail switch is designed with Nano Molding Technology (NMT) to make cleaning metal dust and debris easier. Regularly inspect and clean the tail switch area to maintain reliable contact and functionality.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Warrior Mini3, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Light not turning on: Ensure the insulating film has been removed and the tailcap is fully tightened. Check if the battery is charged.
  • Proximity sensor issues (light dims unexpectedly): The sensor may be triggered by dirt or debris on the lens or bezel. Clean the front of the flashlight. If the issue persists, connect the flashlight to the charger and allow it to fully charge; this can sometimes reset the sensor.
  • Charging not working: Ensure the MCC3 cable is properly connected to both the USB power source and the flashlight's tailcap. Check for any obstructions on the magnetic contact points.
  • Reduced brightness or runtime: The battery may be low or nearing the end of its lifespan. Ensure the flashlight is fully charged before use.
