2. Important Safety Information

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking and Initial Placement

Carefully remove all packaging materials. Place the freezer in its desired location. 3.2 Ventilation and Leveling

3.3 Power Connection

Connect the freezer to a dedicated 110V power outlet. After the initial 24-hour waiting period, plug in the unit. The electronic control panel will illuminate, indicating power is supplied.

Your DEMULLER chest freezer features an intelligent digital display for precise temperature control. The control panel is located on the front of the unit.

Temperature Adjustment:

  1. Press and hold the unlock button for 3 seconds to enter the unlock state. The shutdown temperature will flash.
  2. In the unlocked state, press the "+" or "-" buttons to adjust the desired temperature.
  3. The temperature will flash for 8 seconds and be automatically saved, then the locked state will resume.

The temperature can be precisely adjusted to 1°F increments.

Temperature Range:

The freezer offers a wide temperature range from -15°F to 41°F, allowing you to select the optimal setting for various frozen goods, from meat and seafood to ice cream.

4.2 Cooling System and Noise Level

6. Maintenance

6.1 Defrosting

This is a manual defrost freezer. To defrost the unit:

  1. Unplug the freezer from the power outlet.
  2. Remove all food items and place them in another freezer or cooler.
  3. Open the drain hole located at the bottom of the freezer to allow water to escape. Place a shallow pan or towel underneath to collect the water.
  4. Allow the ice to melt naturally. Do not use sharp objects or heating devices to speed up the defrosting process, as this can damage the freezer.
  5. Once defrosted, clean the interior and dry thoroughly before plugging it back in and returning food items.

6.2 Cleaning
