4. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the appliance for any damage.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the stainless steel interior, steamer basket, and glass lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth.
3. Placement: Place the electric pot on a dry, stable, and heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.

5. Operating Instructions

Control Settings:

General Cooking Steps:

1. Add desired ingredients and liquid (if any) to the main pot. Do not overfill.
2. Place the glass lid securely on the pot.
3. Turn the control dial to your desired power setting (200W or 600W).
4. Monitor cooking progress. Adjust the power setting as needed.
5. Once cooking is complete, turn the dial to 'OFF' and unplug the appliance.

Using the Steamer Basket:

1. Add water to the main pot, ensuring it does not touch the bottom of the steamer basket.
2. Place the steamer basket into the main pot.
3. Arrange food (e.g., vegetables, dumplings, eggs) in the steamer basket.
4. Cover with the glass lid.
5. Turn the control dial to 600W to bring water to a boil and steam. Reduce to 200W if simmering is preferred.
6. Steam until food is cooked to your preference.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

• Do NOT immerse the main unit in water. The main unit is NOT dishwasher safe.
• Clean the stainless steel interior with a soft sponge and mild dish soap. For stubborn stains, a non-abrasive cleaner can be used. Rinse thoroughly.
• Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Dry immediately with a soft, dry cloth.
• The steamer basket and glass lid are dishwasher safe, or can be hand-washed with warm, soapy water.
