1. Introduction

2. Safety Precautions

- This appliance is equipped with over-heating protection and boil dry protection to prevent damage and ensure safety.
- The Keep Warm function operates to stabilize the temperature between 75°C to 80°C. It will activate when the temperature drops below 75°C and turn off when it exceeds 80°C.
- Use the appliance on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface.

4. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the appliance for any damage.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the stainless steel interior, steamer basket, and glass lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth.
- Placement: Place the electric pot on a dry, stable, and heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the appliance and then plug it into a suitable electrical outlet.
5. Operating Instructions
The Dezin Electric Pot offers simple controls for various cooking needs.
Control Settings:
- OFF: Turns the appliance off.
- 200W (Low Power): Ideal for simmering, keeping food warm, or gentle cooking.
- 600W (High Power): For rapid boiling, quick cooking, and heating.
- KEEP WARM: Maintains food temperature between 75°C and 80°C.

General Cooking Steps:
- Add desired ingredients and liquid (if any) to the main pot. Do not overfill.
- Place the glass lid securely on the pot.
- Turn the control dial to your desired power setting (200W or 600W).
- Monitor cooking progress. Adjust the power setting as needed.
- Once cooking is complete, turn the dial to 'OFF' and unplug the appliance.
Using the Steamer Basket:
- Add water to the main pot, ensuring it does not touch the bottom of the steamer basket.
- Place the steamer basket into the main pot.
- Arrange food (e.g., vegetables, dumplings, eggs) in the steamer basket.
- Cover with the glass lid.
- Turn the control dial to 600W to bring water to a boil and steam. Reduce to 200W if simmering is preferred.
- Steam until food is cooked to your preference.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your Dezin Electric Pot.
- Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Do NOT immerse the main unit in water. The main unit is NOT dishwasher safe.
- Clean the stainless steel interior with a soft sponge and mild dish soap. For stubborn stains, a non-abrasive cleaner can be used. Rinse thoroughly.
- Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Dry immediately with a soft, dry cloth.
- The steamer basket and glass lid are dishwasher safe, or can be hand-washed with warm, soapy water.
- Store the appliance in a dry place when not in use.
7. Troubleshooting

- Appliance does not turn on: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the appliance and the wall outlet. Check if the outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
