The Saker 20V Cordless Hedge Trimmer and Grass Shear comes with the main unit, two interchangeable blades (long hedge trimmer blade and short grass shear blade), two 20V 1500mAh rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, and a charger.

The long blade (9.45 inches) is designed for cutting thin shoots on hedges, bushes, small trees, and ornamental plants. The short blade (4.13 inches wide) is ideal for cutting grass, weeds, and small sections of lawns. Both blades are made of SK5 steel for durability and sharpness.

Setup

  1. Charge the Battery: Before first use, fully charge the lithium-ion battery. Connect the charger to a power outlet and insert the battery. The battery level indicator will show charging progress. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.

    The 20V 1500mAh lithium-ion battery provides approximately 60 minutes of working time on a full charge. Monitor the battery level indicator to ensure sufficient power for your task.

  2. Attach the Blade:

Attach the appropriate blade by aligning it with the tool's head and pressing the blade release buttons on both sides to secure it. Ensure the blade is firmly locked in place before proceeding.

  3. Insert the Battery: Slide the charged battery into the battery slot on the tool until it clicks securely into place.

Operating Instructions

  1. Starting the Tool: The Saker trimmer features a double safety lock. To start, push the trigger lock-out button (usually located near the handle) and simultaneously press the main trigger. Release the trigger lock-out once the tool is running.

  2. Adjusting the Head Angle (for Hedge Trimmer): The machine head can be adjusted to 3 angles (15°, 30°, and 45°) for comfortable and effective trimming in various positions and hard-to-reach areas. Use the adjustment knobs to set the desired angle.

  5. Stopping the Tool: Release the main trigger to stop the tool. Always engage the safety lock-out when not actively trimming or when changing blades.
