Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your EDSACE Indoor Security Camera:

1. Step 1: Download the App

   Download the "Vicohome Cloud APP" from your smartphone's app store (available for iOS and Android).

2. Step 2: Power On the Camera

   Plug the provided power adapter into the camera and then into a power outlet. The camera will power on and initiate its startup sequence.

3. Step 3: Connect to Wi-Fi

   Open the Vicohome Cloud APP and follow the in-app instructions to connect the camera to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your phone is connected to the same 2.4GHz network during setup.

For wall mounting, use the included mounting accessories. Choose a location with a clear view and within range of your Wi-Fi signal.

Operating Instructions

Live View and Remote Control

Once connected, open the Vicohome Cloud APP to access the live feed from your camera. You can remotely control the camera's pan (355° horizontal) and tilt (100° vertical) functions to view different areas of your room.

Two-Way Audio

Use the two-way audio feature to communicate with individuals near the camera. Tap the microphone icon in the app to speak, and listen through the camera's built-in speaker.

Motion Detection and AI Recognition

The camera features intelligent AI recognition to detect human and pet movement. When motion is detected, the camera will automatically record and send notifications to your phone. You can adjust sensitivity settings within the app.

Night Vision

Storage Options

The camera supports local storage via a Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included). It also offers 3 days of free cloud storage, which recycles automatically.

To install an SD card, gently tilt the camera lens upwards to reveal the SD card slot. Insert the card with the contacts facing down until it clicks into place.

Preset Positions

You can set up to 5 preset positions within the app. This allows the camera to quickly move to specific areas you frequently monitor with a single tap.

Troubleshooting

Camera Not Connecting to Wi-Fi

• Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The camera does not support 5GHz networks.
• Check your Wi-Fi password for accuracy.
• Move the camera closer to your Wi-Fi router to improve signal strength.
• Reset the camera: Locate the reset button (often by tilting the lens up) and press and hold it for several seconds until the camera indicates a reset. Then, attempt to reconnect via the app.
• Restart your router and try connecting again.

Poor Video Quality

• Ensure a stable Wi-Fi connection. Weak signals can affect streaming quality.
• Clean the camera lens with a soft, dry cloth.
• Check app settings for video resolution options.

No Motion Detection Notifications

• Verify that motion detection is enabled in the Vicohome Cloud APP settings.
• Adjust motion detection sensitivity.
• Check your phone's notification settings to ensure the app is allowed to send alerts.
• Ensure the camera's field of view is clear and not obstructed.

Two-Way Audio Issues

• Ensure your phone's microphone is enabled for the Vicohome Cloud APP.
• Check the volume settings on both your phone and within the app.
• Ensure there is no obstruction blocking the camera's microphone or speaker.
