2. Safety Information

4. Setup and Installation

The RN 120 C offers versatile mounting options for your bicycle.

4.1 Mounting to Seat Post

  1. Attach the seat post mounting strap to your bicycle's seat post.
  2. Align the light with the mount and twist to secure it.

4.2 Mounting Under Saddle

  1. Secure the saddle rail mount to the rails under your bicycle saddle.
  2. Attach the light to the saddle rail mount by twisting until it clicks into place.

5. Operation

5.1 Power On/Off

To turn the light on or off, press and hold the power button for approximately 1 second.

5.2 Mode and Brightness Adjustment

  • Change Mode: With the light on, single click the power button to cycle through different lighting modes (e.g., Steady, Flash, Eco, Smart).
  • Adjust Brightness: Within a steady mode, short click the power button to cycle through available brightness settings. The light features a memory function, returning to the last used mode and brightness.

5.3 Smart Sensor Functions

  • Ambient Light Sensor: The built-in sensor automatically adjusts the light's brightness based on ambient conditions, ensuring optimal visibility day and night.
  • Smart Motion Sensor (Brake Light): When braking, the light automatically increases to its maximum output of 120 lumens for 3 seconds to alert others.

6. Charging

The RN 120 C is equipped with a USB-C charging port for quick and convenient recharging. A full charge takes approximately 1 hour.

  • Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the light.
  • Plug the other end of the cable into a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
  • The indicator light will show charging status.

7. Modes and Run Times

8. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the light with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Do not use harsh chemicals.
  • Charging Port: Ensure the USB-C charging port cover is securely closed when not charging to maintain IPX6 water resistance.
  • Storage: Store the light in a cool, dry place when not in use. Charge the battery every 3-6 months to prolong its lifespan.

9. Troubleshooting

  • Light not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. If fully charged, try a long press (1 second) to power on.
  • Light not responding: Connect the light to a charger to reset it.
  • Mounting feels loose: Re-check that the mounting strap or saddle rail mount is correctly installed and tightened.
