Setup
1. Unpacking the Printer
Carefully remove the printer from its packaging. Remove all protective tapes and packing materials from the exterior and interior of the printer.

2. Filling the Ink Tanks
The Eco Tank L18050 features front-facing ink tanks for easy and mess-free filling. Use the provided key-lock bottles to ensure correct ink goes into the correct tank.
- Open the ink tank unit cover.
- Open the cap for the ink tank you wish to fill.
- Uncap the corresponding ink bottle and insert it into the filling port. The ink will automatically stop flowing when the tank is full.
- Remove the bottle and securely close the ink tank cap and unit cover.
- Repeat for all ink colors.
3. Initial Ink Charge
After filling the ink tanks, you must perform an initial ink charge. This process primes the print head with ink.
- Connect the power cord and turn on the printer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions or refer to the setup guide for initiating the ink charge process. This may take approximately 10-15 minutes.
- Do not turn off the printer or perform any other operations during the ink charge.
4. Software Installation
Install the printer drivers and software from the provided CD-ROM or download the latest versions from the official Epson support website.
- Insert the CD-ROM into your computer's drive or run the downloaded installer.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
- During installation, you will be prompted to connect the printer to your computer via Wi-Fi or Ethernet (if applicable).
Operating the Printer
Loading Paper
The L18050 supports various media types and sizes, including A3+ photo paper, PVC/ID cards, CDs, and DVDs.
- Open the rear paper support.
- Adjust the edge guides to the width of your paper.
- Load paper print-side up.
- For special media like CDs/DVDs or ID cards, refer to the software instructions for loading the appropriate tray.
Printing from a Computer
- Open the document or image you wish to print.
- Select Print from the application's menu.
- Choose your Epson Eco Tank L18050 printer.
- Adjust print settings such as paper size, media type (e.g., Glossy photo paper), print quality, and layout in the printer driver settings.
- Click Print.
Mobile Printing
The printer supports mobile printing via Wi-Fi connectivity.
