Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps for proper assembly of your bed frame. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.
- Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Lay them out on a clean, soft surface. Refer to the parts list to ensure all pieces are present.
- Assemble Headboard and Footboard: Connect the vertical and horizontal sections of the headboard and footboard using the provided bolts and Allen key. Do not fully tighten bolts until all sections are aligned.
- Attach Side Rails: Connect the side rails to the assembled headboard and footboard. Use the U-shaped corner plates and L-shaped plates for enhanced structural stability. Ensure the plates are correctly oriented as shown in the diagram.
- Install Support Legs: Attach the six support legs to the designated points on the bed frame, including the center support bar. Ensure they are firmly attached and provide even support.
- Insert Bed Slats: Carefully insert the metal bed slats into the designated notches on the side rails. Aim the metal pipe at the notch and press firmly to secure it in place. The built-in slats are designed to prevent the mattress from sliding.
- Final Tightening: Once all components are assembled and aligned, go back and fully tighten all bolts and screws. Do not overtighten.
