3. Getting Started

3.1. Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge the DELTA 2 Max. Connect the included AC charging cable to the unit's AC input port and plug it into a standard wall outlet. The LCD display will show the charging progress. A full charge from 0% takes approximately 1.1 hours via AC.

4. Charging Your DELTA 2 Max

4.1. AC Charging

Connect the AC charging cable to a wall outlet. The unit's X-Stream technology allows for rapid charging. You can adjust the AC charging speed via the EcoFlow app.

4.2. Solar Charging

Connect compatible solar panels (up to 1000W input) to the XT60i solar input port. Ensure the panels are placed in direct sunlight for optimal charging efficiency. The unit features 99% MPPT efficiency to maximize solar generation.

4.3. Car Charging

5. Operating Your DELTA 2 Max

5.1. Powering Devices

Press the main power button to turn on the unit. Activate the desired output sections (AC, DC, USB) by pressing their respective buttons. Connect your devices to the appropriate ports.

5.2. X-Boost Feature

The X-Boost feature allows the DELTA 2 Max to power high-wattage appliances (up to 3400W) by lowering their voltage and current. This feature is automatically enabled when the output exceeds the rated power. It is not suitable for all appliances, especially those with strict voltage requirements.

5.3. EcoFlow App Control

Download the EcoFlow app from your smartphone's app store. Connect the DELTA 2 Max via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to monitor its status, control output ports, adjust charging speeds, and update firmware remotely.

6. Expandable Capacity

The DELTA 2 Max's capacity can be expanded from 2048Wh up to 6144Wh by connecting up to two DELTA 2 Max Smart Extra Batteries. Connect the extra battery cable to the designated ports on both the main unit and the extra battery.

7. Maintenance and Storage

7.1. Battery Longevity

The DELTA 2 Max uses LiFePO4 (LFP) battery chemistry, providing over 3000 cycles to 80% capacity. To maximize battery lifespan, avoid consistently draining the battery to 0% or charging to 100% unless necessary. For long-term storage, maintain a charge level between 30% and 50%.

7.2. Cleaning and Storage

8. Troubleshooting

  • Unit not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Press and hold the main power button for a few seconds.
  • No output from ports: Check if the specific output section (AC/DC/USB) is enabled. Ensure the device connected is within the power station's output limits.
  • Slow charging: Verify the charging source (AC, solar, car) is providing sufficient power. Check cable connections. Adjust charging speed settings in the EcoFlow app.
  • Overload warning: Disconnect some devices to reduce the load. The unit will automatically resume output once the overload is cleared.
  • App connectivity issues: Ensure Bluetooth/Wi-Fi is enabled on your phone and the DELTA 2 Max. Restart both devices and try pairing again.
