When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

  1. Read all instructions.
  2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  3. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid.

  6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Contact customer service for examination, repair, or adjustment.
  7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
  8. Do not use outdoors.
  9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  11. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
  12. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off," then remove plug from wall outlet.

Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the waffle maker and all packaging materials.
  2. Clean: Wipe the cooking plates with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry thoroughly.
  3. First Use Preheating: Before using for the first time, plug in the appliance and preheat it for approximately 3 minutes until the indicator light turns off. A minor odor may occur due to rust treatment on internal components; this is normal. To eliminate it, heat the machine for 5-10 minutes without food.
  4. Placement: Place the waffle maker on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance.

Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to prepare your waffles:

  1. Preheat: Plug the waffle maker into a power outlet. The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the appliance is heating. Wait until the indicator light turns off, indicating it has reached the optimal cooking temperature.
  2. Prepare Batter: While the waffle maker preheats, prepare your waffle batter.
  3. Add Batter: Carefully open the lid using the heat-resistant handle. Pour the desired amount of batter onto the lower cooking plate. Do not overfill.
  4. Close and Lock: Gently close the lid and secure it with the lid lock. The 600W double-sided heating system will cook your waffle quickly and evenly.
  5. Cook: Cook for approximately 3-5 minutes, or until the waffle is golden brown and crispy. Cooking time may vary based on batter type and desired crispness.
  6. Remove Waffle: Once cooked, carefully open the lid. Use a heat-resistant, non-metallic utensil (e.g., plastic or wooden spatula) to remove the waffle. Do not use metal utensils, as they can damage the non-stick coating.
  7. Repeat: Close the lid to maintain heat for subsequent waffles.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your waffle maker.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Wipe Plates: Once cooled, wipe the non-stick cooking plates with a damp cloth or sponge. For stubborn residue, a small amount of cooking oil can be applied to soften it before wiping.
  3. Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the waffle maker with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the finish.
  4. Do Not Immerse: Never immerse the waffle maker, its cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
  5. Storage: Store the waffle maker upright in a dry place to save space.
