6.2. Taking Measurements (Pinless Mode)
The MT68 uses a pinless ball sensor for non-invasive measurements. To take a reading:
- Place the spherical probe firmly against the surface you wish to measure.
- Ensure the probe is in full contact with the material.
- The moisture reading will appear instantly on the large LCD display.
- The device can detect moisture up to 40mm (1.57") deep. For best accuracy, the measured material thickness should be greater than 20-40mm.
