Setup
1. Charging the Battery
- Insert the battery into the provided charger.
- Plug the charger into a standard power outlet.
- The charging indicator lights on the battery will show the charging progress. A full charge takes approximately 90 minutes.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the charger and remove the battery.

2. Installing the Chain and Guide Bar
- Ensure the battery is removed from the chainsaw before installation.
- Place the chain around the guide bar, ensuring the cutting edges are facing the correct direction (refer to markings on the chain and bar).
- Align the chain and guide bar with the sprocket and mounting points on the chainsaw body.
- Secure the guide bar cover and use the tool-free tensioning knob to adjust the chain tension. The chain should be snug but still able to be pulled freely around the guide bar by hand.
3. Filling the Oil Reservoir
- Locate the oil reservoir cap on the chainsaw body.
- Unscrew the cap and carefully pour appropriate chainsaw bar and chain oil into the reservoir. Do not overfill.
- Replace the cap securely.
- The automatic lubrication system will distribute oil during operation. Regularly check the oil level.
Operation
1. Starting the Chainsaw
- Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely inserted into the chainsaw.
- Hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands.
- Press the safety lock button (if present) and then squeeze the trigger to start the motor.
2. Cutting Techniques
- Always maintain a stable footing and balance.
- Allow the chain to reach full speed before engaging with the material.
- Apply light, consistent pressure. Let the chainsaw do the work.
- Be aware of falling branches and debris. Plan your cuts to avoid pinching the guide bar.
- For branches, cut from the top down first to relieve pressure, then finish from the bottom up to prevent splintering.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
- After each use, remove the battery and clean the chainsaw thoroughly.
- Use the provided brush to remove sawdust, debris, and oil residue from the guide bar, chain, and motor housing.
- Wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
2. Chain Sharpening and Replacement
- A sharp chain is crucial for efficient and safe operation. Sharpen the chain regularly or replace it when it becomes dull or damaged.
- Refer to specialized guides or professional services for proper chain sharpening techniques.
- When replacing the chain, ensure it is the correct size and type for your Goldsea 6-inch Mini Chainsaw.

3. Oil Level Check
- Before each use, check the oil level in the reservoir. Refill as needed with appropriate bar and chain oil.
- Operating the chainsaw without sufficient lubrication will damage the chain and guide bar.
