  3. Adjust Spray Pattern: If using the adjustable nozzle, rotate it to select the desired spray pattern, ranging from a concentrated jet to a wide fan spray (0-90 degrees).
  4. Apply Detergent (Optional): If using the foam cannon, fill it with appropriate pressure washer detergent. Attach it to the spray gun and spray onto the surface to be cleaned.
  5. Begin Cleaning: Hold the spray gun firmly and direct the spray at the surface. Maintain a safe distance to avoid damage to the surface.
  6. Total Stop System (TSS): The motor will automatically shut off when the trigger is released, conserving energy and extending pump life. It will restart when the trigger is squeezed again.

  • Clean Nozzles: Periodically check and clean the nozzle tips to remove any blockages that may affect spray performance.
  • Inspect Hoses and Connections: Regularly inspect the high-pressure hose, garden hose, and all connections for wear, leaks, or damage. Replace any damaged parts immediately.
  • Storage: Store the pressure washer and its accessories in a dry, frost-free environment.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your pressure washer, consider the following common solutions:

  • Unit Not Starting: Check if the power cord is securely plugged in and the GFCI plug has been reset (indicator light on). Ensure the 'ON/OFF' switch is in the 'ON' position.
  • No Water Flow/Low Pressure: Verify that the water supply is fully open and the garden hose is not kinked. Check for blockages in the water inlet filter or nozzle. Ensure all hose connections are tight.
  • Motor Stops During Use: The unit may have activated its overheating protection. Turn off the unit and allow it to cool down for a period before attempting to restart. Ensure adequate ventilation around the motor.
  • Leaks: Check all connections for tightness. Ensure O-rings and seals are properly seated and not damaged.
