Use fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Do not use E85 or gasoline containing more than 10% ethanol.

1. Ensure the engine is off and cool.
2. Locate the fuel tank cap (refer to Figure 3.2).
3. Unscrew the fuel tank cap.
4. Carefully pour up to 1 liter of gasoline into the fuel tank. Do not overfill. Leave some space for fuel expansion.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Starting the Engine

1. Ensure the engine has sufficient oil and fuel.
2. Open the fuel valve (if equipped).
3. Move the choke lever to the 'CHOKE' position (for cold starts). For warm starts, the choke may not be necessary.
4. Move the throttle lever to the 'FAST' or 'START' position.
5. Grasp the recoil starter handle firmly. Pull slowly until resistance is felt, then pull quickly and smoothly to start the engine. Do not let the rope snap back; guide it gently.
6. Once the engine starts, gradually move the choke lever to the 'RUN' position as the engine warms up.
7. Adjust the throttle to the desired operating speed.

5. Reinstall the filter elements and the air filter cover.

6.3. Spark Plug Inspection
