5. Setup Instructions
5.1 Positioning the Unit
Place the portable air conditioner on a firm, level surface in the room where cooling is desired. Ensure there is at least 20 inches (50 cm) of space around the unit for proper airflow.
5.2 Window Kit Installation
The included window installation kit is designed for both vertical and horizontal sliding windows with widths/heights from 25.5 inches to 47 inches.
- Assemble the window slider kit by connecting the panels to fit your window opening.
- Insert the assembled window kit into the window opening and extend it to fit securely.
- Close the window firmly against the window kit to seal it.
- Attach the exhaust hose connector to the exhaust hose.
- Connect the other end of the exhaust hose to the adapter.
- Insert the adapter into the opening on the window kit.
- Ensure all connections are tight to prevent air leakage.

5.3 Drainage Setup
The unit has two drainage options: manual and continuous.
- Manual Drainage: When the internal water tank is full, the unit will stop operating and display an indicator. Turn off the unit, unplug it, and carefully move it to a suitable drainage location. Remove the drain plug and allow the water to drain into a pan or bucket. Replace the drain plug securely.
- Continuous Drainage: For continuous operation, especially in dehumidifier mode, attach the included drain hose to the continuous drainage port at the back of the unit. Route the hose to a floor drain or a container placed below the unit's drainage port. Ensure the hose is not kinked or blocked.
6. Operating Instructions
The unit can be operated using the LED touch panel on top of the unit or the remote control.
6.1 Control Panel Functions

6.2 Remote Control

6.3 Operating Modes
- Cool Mode: Select 'Cool' mode. Use the Up/Down arrows to set your desired temperature between 61°F and 90°F. Adjust fan speed as needed.
- Fan Mode: Select 'Fan' mode. The unit will circulate air without cooling. Choose between High or Low fan speed.
- Dry (Dehumidifier) Mode: Select 'Dry' mode. The unit will remove moisture from the air. Ensure the continuous drainage hose is properly installed for extended use in this mode.
6.4 Timer Function
Press the 'Timer' button to set the desired operating time (1-24 hours). The unit will automatically turn on or off after the set time. Press 'Timer' again to cancel.
6.5 Smart Sleep Mode
In Cool mode, press the 'Sleep' button. The unit will operate at a lower fan speed and gradually increase the set temperature by 1.8°F per hour for the first two hours, then maintain that temperature for the remaining sleep duration. This mode is designed for quiet and energy-efficient overnight operation.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your portable air conditioner.
7.1 Cleaning the Air Filter
The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Turn off the unit and unplug it from the power outlet.
- Locate the air filter panel at the back of the unit.
- Gently pull out the filter.
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
- Reinsert the dry filter into the unit and close the panel.

7.2 Draining Accumulated Water
If using manual drainage, regularly check the water tank and drain it when the 'Full' indicator lights up. For continuous drainage, ensure the drain hose is free from blockages and properly positioned to allow water to flow out.
7.3 Cleaning the Unit Exterior
Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the surface.
8. Troubleshooting
