4. Setup and Assembly

The SAMEBIKE XD26 comes partially assembled. Follow these steps to complete the assembly:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
  2. Handlebar Installation: Attach the handlebars to the stem, ensuring they are centered and tightened securely. Adjust the angle for comfortable riding.
  3. Front Wheel Attachment: Install the front wheel, ensuring the disc brake rotor is correctly seated in the caliper. Secure with the quick-release skewer or axle nuts.
  4. Pedal Installation: Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. The left pedal tightens counter-clockwise, and the right pedal tightens clockwise. Apply a small amount of grease to the threads before installation.
  5. Seat Post and Saddle: Insert the seat post into the frame and adjust the saddle height to your comfort. Ensure the quick-release clamp is securely tightened.
  6. Battery Installation: Insert the 48V 14Ah battery into its designated compartment on the frame. Ensure it clicks into place and is locked securely with the provided key.
  7. Initial Charge: Before your first ride, fully charge the battery. Connect the charger to the battery charging port and then to a power outlet. The indicator light on the charger will change when fully charged.

5. Operating the Bicycle

5.1 Powering On/Off

To power on the bike, press and hold the power button on the display unit. To power off, press and hold the same button until the display turns off.

5.2 TFT Color Display

The high-resolution TFT color display provides real-time information about your ride, including speed, battery indicator, riding mode, trip distance, odometer, and range. Use the control buttons next to the display to navigate through different screens and settings.

The SAMEBIKE XD26 offers three distinct riding modes:

5.4 Gear Shifting

The bike is equipped with a 7-speed Shimano gear system. Use the shifter on the handlebars to change gears according to terrain and desired speed. Shift smoothly to avoid strain on the drivetrain.
