4. Setup
4.1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove the safe from its packaging. Inspect the safe for any signs of damage. Ensure all listed package contents are present. The safe is designed to be sturdy, weighing approximately 18.7 pounds.
4.2. Battery Installation
The safe requires four AA batteries for operation. The battery compartment is located on the inside of the safe door. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to open the compartment, insert the batteries, and secure the cover.

4.3. Mounting the Safe
For enhanced security, the safe can be mounted to a wall or floor. Use the provided mounting template to mark the drill points. Drill pilot holes, then secure the safe using the included bolts and screws. Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support the safe's weight and resist forced removal.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Setting Up Fingerprints
To register a fingerprint, access the system settings via the LCD display. Follow the voice prompts to place your finger on the scanner multiple times until registration is complete. The safe can store up to 40 unique fingerprints.

5.2. Fingerprint Unlock
Place a registered finger firmly on the fingerprint scanner. The safe will unlock in approximately 1 second, accompanied by a voice prompt (if silent mode is off) and a green light indicator.

5.3. Setting Up PIN Codes
Navigate to the password management section on the LCD display. Follow the voice guidance to set up an administrator PIN and user PINs. PINs should be 6 digits long for optimal security.

5.4. Keypad Unlock
Enter your 6-digit PIN code on the keypad, then press the 'OK' button. The safe will unlock, and the door will automatically open slightly.
5.5. Key Unlock (Emergency)
In case of battery failure or forgotten codes, the safe can be opened with the physical emergency key. The keyhole is discreetly located behind a small cover on the keypad panel. Insert the key and turn to unlock.

5.6. App Control
Download the BILLCONCH app from your smartphone's app store. Pair your safe via Bluetooth. The app allows you to unlock the safe, manage fingerprints and passwords, view battery levels, and review unlock history. Ensure you are within Bluetooth range for app functionality.

5.7. Automatic Locking Feature
The safe is equipped with an automatic locking mechanism. After the door is closed, it will automatically engage the locking bolts, provided a valid access method was used to open it. No additional knob or action is required to secure the safe.

5.8. Silent Mode and LED Light
The safe features an internal LED light that activates automatically when the door is opened, providing clear visibility. You can also enable or disable voice guidance through the system settings to operate the safe in silent mode, which is useful for discreet access.

6. Storage and Organization
6.1. Detachable Pistol Bracket
The safe includes four detachable pistol brackets designed to securely hold handguns in an upright position. These brackets can be unscrewed and repositioned or removed entirely to create more space for other items.

6.2. Removable Shelf
A removable shelf is provided to customize the internal storage space. It can be installed to create two separate compartments, or removed for a single, larger storage area, accommodating various items such as documents, jewelry, or multiple pistols.

7. Maintenance
7.1. General Care
To maintain your safe, regularly wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the fingerprint scanner and keypad are clean for optimal performance. Periodically check battery levels via the LCD display or app.
7.2. Emergency Power Supply
If the batteries run out and you cannot access the safe, an emergency USB power supply can be used. Connect the provided USB cable to the USB port on the keypad panel and to an external power source (e.g., power bank). This will temporarily power the electronic lock, allowing you to use your fingerprint or PIN to open the safe. Note that the safe's batteries are not rechargeable via this port.

8. Troubleshooting
- Fingerprint Not Recognized: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Try repositioning your finger on the scanner. If issues persist, re-register your fingerprint or try another registered finger.
- Keypad Not Responding: Check battery levels. If low, replace batteries or use the USB emergency power supply. Ensure keys are pressed firmly.
- Safe Not Locking Automatically: Verify that the door is fully closed and aligned. Check system settings to ensure automatic locking is enabled.
- Forgotten PIN/App Issues: Use the emergency key for immediate access. Reset PINs via the LCD display or app settings. For app connectivity issues, ensure Bluetooth is enabled and you are within range.
- No Power/Dead Batteries: Use the emergency key or connect an external power source via the USB port. Replace batteries promptly.
