Setup

1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the scooter for any signs of damage during transit. Ensure all parts listed in the components overview are present.

2. Assembly

  1. Unfold the Scooter: Release the folding mechanism and raise the handlebar stem until it locks securely into place. Ensure the locking pin is fully engaged.
  2. Attach Handlebars: Screw the removable handlebar grips onto the main handlebar stem. Ensure they are tightened securely.

3. Initial Battery Charge

Before your first ride, fully charge the scooter's battery. The charging time is approximately 5 hours for a full charge.

  1. Locate the charging port on the scooter.
  2. Connect the charger to the charging port, then plug the charger into a power outlet.
  3. The charging indicator light on the charger will change (e.g., from red to green) when charging is complete.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

Press and hold the power button on the LED display to turn the scooter on or off.

2. Speed Modes

The EV08S features 3 speed modes for flexible riding. Press the function button on the display to cycle through the speed modes:

  • Mode 1: Lowest speed, suitable for beginners or crowded areas.
  • Mode 2: Medium speed, for balanced performance.
  • Mode 3: Highest speed (up to 15 MPH), for experienced riders on open paths.

3. Acceleration and Braking

  • Acceleration: Gently press the throttle lever to accelerate.
  • Braking: Use the brake lever on the handlebar to activate the dual braking system. Apply pressure gradually for smooth deceleration. The taillight will flash when braking.

4. Cruise Control

The scooter features a cruise control system. Maintain a consistent speed for a few seconds, and the cruise control will activate, maintaining that speed without continuous throttle input. To disengage, simply press the brake lever or throttle.

5. Folding and Unfolding

  • Folding: Ensure the scooter is powered off. Locate the folding mechanism lever near the base of the handlebar stem. Pull the lever to release the lock and fold the stem downwards until it clicks into place.
  • Unfolding: Release the folding lock and raise the handlebar stem until it locks securely into the upright position.

Maintenance

1. Battery Care

  • Charge the battery fully before first use.
  • Avoid completely draining the battery. Recharge after each use.
  • If storing the scooter for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50-70% every 30-60 days to prolong its lifespan.
  • Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures.

2. Tire Inspection
