Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Roomba Combo j5 for the first time:
- Charge the Robot: Place the Roomba Combo j5 on its Home Base Charging Station. Ensure it is properly docked and charging. The indicator light will show charging status.
- Download the iRobot Home App: Download the iRobot Home App from your device's app store (available on iOS and Android).

Vacuuming

Mopping

With PrecisionVision Navigation and a built-in camera, your robot identifies and avoids obstacles of all sizes, including pet waste, charging cords, socks, and shoes. The P.O.O.P. (Pet Owner Official Promise) guarantees avoidance of pet waste, or iRobot will replace your robot for free (additional terms apply).

Emptying the Dust Bin
The dust bin is easily accessible and can be emptied by pressing a button on the side of the robot. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal (sold separately) allows for up to 60 days of worry-free vacuuming by automatically emptying the bin.

Cleaning Brushes and Filter
