Follow these steps carefully to assemble your VECELO Full Size Platform Bed Frame. It is recommended to assemble the bed frame in the room where it will be used.

Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions

1. Attach Headboard Legs: Secure the support legs to the upholstered headboard using the provided hardware. Ensure they are firmly attached but do not fully tighten yet.

2. Assemble Side Rails: Connect the side rails to the headboard and footboard. The side rails feature a Velcro design for easy slat installation and noise reduction.

3. Install Center Support Bar and Legs: Attach the center support bar and its corresponding legs to the bed frame. These provide additional stability and weight capacity.
4. Place Wooden Slats: Lay the wooden slats across the bed frame. The Velcro strips on the side rails will help secure the slats in place, preventing movement and noise.
5. Final Tightening: Once all components are in place and aligned, fully tighten all screws and bolts using the provided Allen wrench. Ensure the bed frame is stable and level.

Operating Instructions

Mattress Placement

Place your mattress directly onto the wooden slats. A box spring is not required for this platform bed frame. The recommended mattress thickness is between 6 and 12 inches for optimal headboard visibility and comfort.

Adjusting the Headboard Height

The upholstered headboard features an adjustable height mechanism. You can set the headboard height between 41.7 inches and 47.7 inches to best suit your mattress height and personal preference. To adjust, loosen the bolts connecting the headboard to its support legs, slide the headboard to the desired height, and then re-tighten the bolts securely.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: The upholstered surface is made of soft velvet, which is skin-friendly and easy to clean. For general cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth. For spills or stains, follow the product care instructions: Dry Clean Only. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Fastener Checks: Periodically inspect all screws and bolts. Re-tighten any that have become loose over time to maintain the bed frame's structural integrity and prevent noise.
• Under-bed Clearance: The bed frame offers 14 inches of under-bed clearance, providing convenient storage space and ease for cleaning with devices like robot vacuums.
