2. Safety Information

• Indoor Use Only: These bulbs are designed for indoor use in dry locations. Do not expose to water or moisture.
• Standard Fixtures: Use in standard E26 base light fixtures. Ensure the fixture is powered off before installation or removal.
• Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation around the bulb. Do not install in fully enclosed fixtures that may trap heat.
• Dimmer Switches: Do not use with traditional dimmer switches. Dimming is controlled via the Govee Home App or voice assistants.
• Operating Temperature: Operate within the specified temperature range to prevent damage.
• Children and Pets: Keep out of reach of children and pets.

5. Setup

5.1. Installation

1. Power Off: Ensure the power to the light fixture is turned off at the switch before installing the bulb.
2. Screw In: Carefully screw the Govee smart light bulb into a standard E26 light socket. Do not overtighten.
3. Power On: Turn the power back on at the switch. The bulb should light up.

5.2. Govee Home App Download

To unlock the full features of your smart bulb, download the Govee Home App.

• Scan the QR code provided in the product packaging or search for "Govee Home" in the Apple App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android devices).
• Install the app and create an account or log in if you already have one.

5.3. Device Pairing (Wi-Fi & Bluetooth)

1. Enable Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
2. Open App: Open the Govee Home App.
3. Add Device: Tap the "+" icon in the top right corner of the app to add a new device.
4. Select Device: The app will automatically scan for nearby Govee devices. Select "H6006" from the list.
5. Connect to Wi-Fi: Follow the in-app instructions to connect the bulb to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted. Note: Presets saving is only available when smart light bulbs are connected to Wi-Fi. Please make sure Bluetooth is turned off during Wi-Fi setup.
6. Rename Device (Optional): Once connected, you can rename your bulb for easier identification (e.g., "Living Room Lamp").

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Basic Control (App)

• On/Off: Tap the power icon in the app to turn the bulb on or off.
• Brightness Adjustment: Use the slider in the app to adjust brightness from 1% to 100%.
• Color Changing: Select from 16 million colors using the color wheel in the app.
• Tunable White: Adjust the white light temperature from 2700K (warm white) to 6500K (cool daylight).

6.2. Advanced Features

• Scene Modes: Access up to 54 pre-set scene modes in the Govee Home App to create different atmospheres.
• Music Sync: The bulb can change color and brightness in sync with music detected by your phone's microphone. Activate this feature in the app.
• Voice Control: Connect your Govee account to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant for hands-free control. Use commands like "Alexa, dim the light to 80% brightness" or "Hey Google, turn on the living room light."

• Group Control: If you own multiple Govee smart products, create a group in the Govee Home App to control them simultaneously. This allows for synchronized lighting across multiple bulbs or rooms.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Ensure the bulb is powered off and cool before cleaning. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
• Storage: If storing the bulb for an extended period, keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

8. Troubleshooting

• Bulb not turning on: Ensure the light fixture has power and the bulb is screwed in correctly. Test the fixture with a different bulb if necessary.
• Cannot connect to Govee Home App:
  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
  • Verify your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The bulbs do not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
  • Move closer to the bulb and Wi-Fi router during pairing.
  • Reset the bulb by turning it off and on five times consecutively (wait 1-2 seconds between each toggle) until it flashes, then try pairing again.
• Voice control not working:
  • Ensure your Govee account is correctly linked to Alexa or Google Assistant in their respective apps.
  • Check your internet connection.
  • Verify the bulb is online in the Govee Home App.
• Flickering or inconsistent brightness: Ensure the bulb is not used with a traditional dimmer switch. If the issue persists, try resetting the bulb.
• Presets not saving: This feature requires the bulb to be connected to Wi-Fi. Ensure a stable Wi-Fi connection.
