4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage. Ensure all listed accessories are present.

4.2 Assembly

  1. Connect the High-Pressure Hose: Attach the 8m super flexible hose to the high-pressure washer's outlet and to the spray gun. Ensure connections are tight.
  2. Attach the Lance and Nozzle: Select the appropriate lance and nozzle for your task. Connect them securely to the spray gun. For example, use the rotary nozzle for tough dirt or the adjustable nozzle for general cleaning.
  3. Water Connection:
    • Direct Water Supply: Connect a standard garden hose to the water inlet of the pressure washer. Ensure the inspectable water filter is clean and correctly installed.
    • Self-Suction Function: If a direct water connection is not available, the unit can draw water from a container. Place the suction hose (not included, typically) into a water reservoir. Ensure the water filter is submerged and free from air bubbles.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable grounded electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Starting the Unit

  1. Ensure all connections are secure and the water supply is open.
  2. Turn on the main power switch on the unit.
  3. Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to release any trapped air and allow water to flow through until a steady stream is achieved. This primes the pump.
  4. The unit is now ready for high-pressure cleaning.

5.2 Using Different Nozzles

  • Rotary Nozzle: Ideal for removing stubborn dirt, moss, and grime from hard surfaces like patios, driveways, and stone. Hold it at a slight angle to the surface to avoid damage.
  • Adjustable Nozzle: Use a narrow, concentrated jet for precise cleaning of small areas or tough spots. Adjust to a wider fan spray for general cleaning of larger, less soiled areas, or for rinsing.

5.3 Using the Foam Cleaning Kit

Attach the foam cleaning kit to the spray gun. Fill the detergent tank with an appropriate pressure washer detergent. The extendable lance helps reach higher areas. Apply foam evenly to the surface, allow it to dwell for the recommended time, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.

5.4 Cleaning Applications

  • Gates, Benches, Garden Furniture & Tools: Use the adjustable nozzle with a wide fan spray for general cleaning. For tougher spots, switch to a narrower jet or the rotary nozzle, maintaining a safe distance to prevent damage.
  • Bicycles & Motorcycles: Use a low-pressure setting or a wide fan spray to avoid damaging delicate components like bearings and seals. Avoid direct spray on electrical parts.
  • Cars: Pre-rinse with a wide fan spray. Apply car wash detergent using the foam kit. Allow to soak, then rinse thoroughly from top to bottom. Avoid spraying directly into engine compartments or sensitive electronics.
  • Stairs & Pools: The rotary nozzle can be effective for cleaning stubborn dirt on stairs. For pools, use a wide fan spray for general cleaning of surfaces, ensuring proper drainage.

6.1 Cleaning the Water Filter

Regularly inspect and clean the water filter to prevent debris from entering the pump. To clean, unscrew the filter housing, remove the filter, rinse it under running water, and reassemble. Replace if damaged.

6.2 Storage

Before storing, ensure the unit is disconnected from power and water. Drain all water from the pump, hose, and spray gun to prevent freezing damage in cold climates. Store the pressure washer and its accessories in a dry, frost-free location. The compact design allows for easy storage, reducing space requirements by up to 85% compared to traditional models.
