4. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your ARXP BOX5 160DTS for operation:
- Positioning: Place the pressure washer on a firm, level surface near a water source and an electrical outlet.
- Water Connection:
- Direct Water Supply: Connect a garden hose (not included) to the water inlet on the unit (refer to Figure 4.1). Ensure the water supply is turned on fully.
- Self-Priming (External Tank): If using an external water tank, connect a suitable hose to the water inlet and immerse the other end in the tank. The unit will self-prime (refer to Figure 4.2).
- High-Pressure Hose Connection: Connect the 8-meter super flexible high-pressure hose to the high-pressure outlet on the unit and to the spray gun. Ensure connections are secure.
- Lance and Nozzle Attachment: Attach the desired lance and nozzle (e.g., adjustable jet nozzle, rotating jet nozzle, or Twin Nozzle) to the spray gun.
- Electrical Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions
The ARXP BOX5 160DTS features two operating modes via its Dualtech System:
- ECO MODE (1 Power Unit): Ideal for delicate cleaning tasks. This mode uses one pump unit, providing sufficient pressure for surfaces like wood, bicycles, vehicles, garden furniture, and outdoor fabrics.
- FAST MODE (2 Power Units): Activates both pump units for maximum power and flow rate (up to 850 l/h). This mode is recommended for stubborn dirt on large, hard surfaces such as stone, concrete, and bricks. The jet's range can reach up to 5 meters.

General Operation:
- Ensure all connections are secure and the water supply is open.
- Turn on the pressure washer using the power switch.
- Select the desired cleaning mode (ECO or FAST) on the unit.
- Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to begin spraying. Release the trigger to stop the flow.
- Adjust the nozzle or use different accessories as needed for the cleaning task.
- For detergent application, fill the high-pressure foam kit with appropriate detergent and attach it according to its instructions.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your ARXP BOX5 160DTS.
- After Each Use:
- Turn off the unit and disconnect from power.
- Turn off the water supply and squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure.
- Disconnect hoses and accessories.
- Drain any remaining water from the unit and hoses to prevent freezing in cold weather.
- Filter Inspection: Regularly inspect the inspectable water filter for debris. Clean or replace if necessary to ensure proper water flow and prevent damage to the pump.
