Operating Instructions: Jump Starting Your Vehicle

  1. Ensure Sufficient Charge: Make sure your jump starter has at least 50% charge for optimal performance.
  2. Connect Jumper Cables to Unit: Open the 12V Jumping Port cover on the jump starter. Insert the smart jumper cable plug firmly into the port. The LCD screen will display the battery percentage and a green light on the smart clamp will blink, indicating it's ready.
  3. Connect Clamps to Car Battery: Attach the red (+) clamp to the positive terminal of your car battery and the black (-) clamp to the negative terminal. Ensure a secure connection. The green light on the smart clamp will become solid, indicating a correct connection and readiness to jump start. If a red light appears or an alarm sounds, check connections for polarity or other issues.
  4. Start Your Vehicle: Return to your vehicle and start the engine.
  5. Remove Clamps: Once the engine starts, immediately remove the clamps from the car battery terminals, then disconnect the jumper cable plug from the jump starter unit.
