  2. Plug & Play: The CreateMate supports plug-and-play functionality with Type-C port phones and tablets that support OTG (On-The-Go). No additional drivers or apps are typically required for Windows 7 and above, Mac OS 10 and above, Linux, Android, and iPad OS.
  3. Card Storage: When not in use, ensure all cards are securely placed in their slots and the internal module is fully retracted into the protective rubber case. The carabiner clip allows for easy attachment to bags or gear.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Device Not Recognized:
    • Ensure the USB-C connector is fully inserted into your device.
    • Verify that your smartphone or tablet supports OTG functionality if connecting directly.
    • If connecting to a desktop, confirm you are using a compatible Type-C to USB-A adapter if needed.
    • Try connecting to a different USB port or device to rule out port-specific issues.
  • Slow Data Transfer:
    • Ensure your memory cards are high-speed (e.g., UHS-II, SD 4.0) to achieve maximum transfer rates.
    • Check your device's USB port specification (USB 3.1 is required for optimal speed).
    • Close other applications that might be consuming system resources during transfer.
  • Cards Not Reading:
    • Ensure memory cards are inserted correctly into their respective slots.
    • Check if the memory cards are damaged or corrupted. Try them in another reader if possible.
