3. Setup Guide

3.1 Charging the Camera

Before initial use, fully charge the camera using the provided USB cable. A full charge typically provides 3-6 months of usage, depending on activity.

3.2 App Installation

Download the "Mubview" or "Cloudedge" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store). Create an account and log in.

3.3 Camera Pairing and Wi-Fi Connection

  1. Open the app and tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to power on the camera and enter pairing mode.
  3. Connect the camera to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The camera does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
  4. Scan the QR code displayed on your phone with the camera lens.
  5. Once connected, name your camera and complete the setup.

3.4 Mounting the Camera

The MUBVIEW Q5 camera can be mounted indoors or outdoors. Choose a location with good Wi-Fi signal and a clear view of the area you wish to monitor.

  1. Mark the drill holes using the mounting bracket as a template.
  2. Drill holes and insert wall anchors if mounting on drywall or masonry.
  3. Secure the mounting bracket with screws.
  4. Attach the camera to the mounting bracket and adjust the angle as needed.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Live View

Open the Mubview app to access the live feed from your camera. You can view up to four cameras simultaneously.

4.2 Motion Detection and AI Analysis

The camera features PIR motion detection with AI analysis to accurately recognize persons, vehicles, pets, and packages. When motion is detected, you will receive real-time notifications on your phone.
