3. Setup and Initial Use
The KOMFOTT Adjustable Floor Sofa Bed requires no assembly. It is designed for immediate use upon unpacking.
Unfolding the Sofa Bed:
- Carefully remove the sofa bed from its packaging.
- Place the folded unit on a clean, level floor surface.
- Gently unfold the sections until the desired configuration (sofa, lounge, or flat bed) is achieved. The backrest mechanism will click into place at each adjustable position.
- Position the two included pillows for optimal comfort and support.

4. Operating Instructions
Adjusting the Backrest:
The backrest features a 6-position adjustment mechanism, allowing you to customize your comfort level.
- To adjust the backrest, gently push the backrest forward until you hear a click.
- Continue pushing forward to release the current position.
- Slowly recline the backrest to your desired angle. The mechanism will lock into one of the six preset positions (90°, 106°, 122°, 138°, 154°, 180°).
- Ensure the backrest is securely locked in place before applying full weight.

Converting to a Flat Bed or Lounge:
To convert the sofa into a flat bed or lounge position, follow the backrest adjustment steps until it reaches the 180° flat position. The half-head part is also adjustable for additional comfort.

Folding for Storage:
To fold the sofa bed for storage, ensure the backrest is in the fully upright (90°) position, then fold the entire unit inward. It can be stored flat under a bed or sofa, or upright in a closet.

5. Maintenance and Care
