4. Setup and Installation

The GOODEA LED Puck Lights are designed for quick and easy installation without the need for tools or wiring. Each light features a built-in magnet and comes with adhesive metal disks for versatile mounting.

Installation Steps:

  1. Prepare the Surface: Ensure the desired installation surface is clean, dry, and smooth.
  2. Attach Metal Disk: Peel off the protective film from one side of the adhesive metal disk. Firmly press the adhesive side onto the chosen surface (e.g., under a cabinet, inside a closet).
  3. Mount the Light: The puck light has a built-in magnet. Simply align the light with the installed metal disk, and it will magnetically attach.
  4. Adjust Position: The magnetic attachment allows for easy removal and repositioning of the light as needed.

5. Operating Instructions

Your GOODEA LED Puck Lights offer multiple operating modes and control options for customized lighting.

5.1. Light Modes

Each puck light has a toggle switch to select between three modes:

  • OFF Mode: The light is off and will not activate.
  • Night Sensing Mode (Motion Sensor): The light activates only in dark conditions when motion is detected within 10ft/120°. It automatically turns off after 20 seconds of no activity.
  • Always On Mode: Provides continuous lighting regardless of ambient light or motion.

5.2. Remote Control Functions

The included IR remote control allows for convenient adjustment of brightness and setting a timer.

  • On/Off: Press the 'ON' or 'OFF' buttons to manually turn the lights on or off.
  • Brightness Adjustment: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to cycle through 10 brightness levels (10%-100%).
  • Timer Function: Set the lights to automatically turn off after 15, 30, 60, or 120 minutes using the dedicated timer buttons. Press the 'Cancel Timer' button to disable the timer.

6. Charging

Each puck light is equipped with a built-in 1000mAh rechargeable lithium battery. Use the provided USB charging cables to recharge the lights.

  • Charging Time: A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours.
  • Battery Life: Up to 6 hours in 'Always On' mode at full brightness. In 'Motion Sensor' mode, they can operate for 30-60 days on a single charge, depending on usage frequency.
  • Charging Indicator: The light will indicate its charging status (e.g., red for charging, green/off for fully charged).

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the lights with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the lights frequently. Recharge them when the brightness noticeably diminishes.
  • Storage: If storing the lights for an extended period, ensure they are fully charged and store them in a cool, dry place. Recharge periodically to maintain battery health.
