1. Introduction

3. Setup

3.1. Inserting SIM and Memory Card

The Nokia G22 supports Dual-SIM functionality. Locate the SIM tray on the side of the device. Use the provided SIM pin to eject the tray. Carefully place your Nano-SIM card(s) and/or a microSD card (if applicable) into the designated slots on the tray. Ensure the cards are correctly oriented as indicated on the tray. Gently push the tray back into the device until it clicks into place.

3.2. Initial Power On and Charging

Press and hold the power button (located on the side) until the Nokia logo appears. For first-time use, it is recommended to fully charge the device. Connect the USB Type-C cable to the phone's charging port and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging progress.

3.3. Initial Setup Wizard

Upon first power-on, the device will guide you through the Android 12 setup wizard. This includes selecting your language, connecting to a Wi-Fi network, signing in with your Google account, and setting up security features like fingerprint unlock.

4. Operating Your Device

4.1. Basic Navigation

The Nokia G22 operates on Android 12. Navigate using on-screen gestures or the traditional three-button navigation bar (Back, Home, Recents). Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access the app drawer. Swipe down from the top for notifications and quick settings.

4.2. Fingerprint Sensor

The fingerprint sensor is integrated into the power button on the side of the device. To set up, go to Settings > Security > Fingerprint Unlock and follow the on-screen instructions to register your fingerprints. This allows for quick and secure unlocking of your phone.

4.3. Camera Features

4.4. Connectivity

Your device supports Wi-Fi and 4G/LTE cellular connectivity. To connect to Wi-Fi, go to Settings > Network & internet > Internet. For cellular data, ensure your SIM card is active and mobile data is enabled in quick settings or Settings > Network & internet > Mobile network.
