5.1 Powering On and Preheating

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

  2. Remove Plates: Once cool, press the plate release buttons and carefully remove the cooking plates.
  3. Clean Plates: The grill, flat, and waffle plates are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash them by hand with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reattaching or storing.
  4. Empty Drip Tray: Remove the grease drip tray and discard the collected fat and juices. Wash the tray with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry.
  5. Clean Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers. Never immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
