2. Setup

1. Unboxing: Carefully remove the translator device and all accessories from the packaging.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Voice Translation

1. Select Languages: On the main screen, tap 'Voice Translation'. Select your native language (e.g., English) for button 'A' and the target language (e.g., Japanese) for button 'B'.
2. Speak: To speak in your native language, press and hold button 'A' while speaking clearly into the device's microphone. Release the button when finished. The device will translate and speak the phrase in the target language.
3. Listen & Respond: For the other person to respond, they should press and hold button 'B' and speak in their language. The device will translate and speak their response in your native language.

3.2. Photo Translation

The photo translation feature allows you to translate text from images, such as signs or menus.

1. Access Photo Translation: From the main screen, tap 'Photo Translation'.
2. Capture Image: Position the device's camera over the text you wish to translate. Ensure the text is clear and well-lit. Tap the camera icon to take a picture.
3. View Translation: The device will process the image and display the translated text on the screen.

3.3. Offline Translation

For situations without internet access, the device supports offline translation for 10 core languages. You must download these language packages beforehand while connected to Wi-Fi.

1. Download Offline Packages: Go to 'Settings' > 'Offline Download'. Select the languages you need and tap the download icon. Confirm the download.
2. Activate Offline Mode: Once downloaded, you can use these languages for translation even without a Wi-Fi connection. Ensure Wi-Fi is turned off if you wish to strictly use offline mode.
