1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using the appliance and retain them for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious personal injury.

• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse the cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

3. Setup

Before first use, ensure the appliance is clean and the correct plates are installed.

Initial Cleaning:

• Wipe down the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth.
• Wash the removable plates with warm, soapy water or place them in the dishwasher. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.

Plate Installation:

• Ensure the appliance is unplugged and cool.
• Align the tabs on the desired plates with the slots on the main unit.
• Gently press down until the plates click securely into place.

First Use / Break-in Process:

During the first use, the plates may emit a slight odor or smoke. This is normal and part of the manufacturing process. To ensure optimal non-stick performance and remove any residual manufacturing oils:

• Install the desired plates.
• Plug in the appliance and set the temperature to the highest setting (5).
• Allow the unit to preheat until the green indicator light turns off.
• Place a piece of plain bread on the plates and close the lid.
• Cook for 2-3 minutes, then discard the bread.
• Repeat this process for each set of plates.
• Wipe the plates clean with a damp cloth after they have cooled.

4. Operating Instructions

The FOHERE 3-in-1 maker features a 5-gear temperature control for precise cooking.

General Operation:

• Plug the appliance into a 110V power outlet. The red indicator light will illuminate.
• Turn the temperature control dial to your desired setting (1-5).
• Allow the appliance to preheat. The green indicator light will turn on during preheating and turn off when the desired temperature is reached.
• Carefully open the lid and place your food onto the preheated plates.
• Close the lid and latch the handle.
• Cook for the recommended time or until desired doneness. The green light may cycle on and off during cooking to maintain temperature.
• Once cooking is complete, carefully remove the food using a heat-resistant utensil.
• Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

Specific Uses:

Waffles:

• Install the waffle plates.
• Set temperature to 3-5 for crispy waffles.
• Pour waffle batter onto the lower plate, ensuring not to overfill.
• Close the lid and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until golden brown.

Sandwiches:

• Install the sandwich plates.
• Set temperature to 3-5 for well-toasted sandwiches.
• Prepare your sandwich ingredients.
• Place one slice of buttered bread on the lower plate, add fillings, then top with another slice of buttered bread.
• Close the lid and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the bread is golden and fillings are heated through.

Grilling (Panini, Meats, Vegetables):

• Install the grill plates.
• Set temperature to 1-2 for fruits/vegetables, or 3-5 for meats/panini.
• Place food directly onto the lower grill plate.
• Close the lid and cook until desired doneness. Cooking times will vary based on food type and thickness.

5. Plate Installation and Removal

The removable plates make switching between cooking functions and cleaning simple.

To Remove Plates:

• Ensure the appliance is unplugged and completely cool.
• Locate the plate release buttons on the side of the main unit (refer to Image 6).
• Press the release button firmly while gently lifting the plate.
• Repeat for the other plate.

To Install Plates:

• Ensure the appliance is unplugged and cool.
• Align the tabs on the desired plates with the corresponding slots on the main unit.
• Gently press down on the plate until it clicks securely into place.
• Ensure both plates are firmly seated before use.

Cleaning the Plates:

• Always allow the plates to cool completely before cleaning.
