5.2 Electric Drop Bolt Lock Installation
The electric drop bolt lock is an NC (Normally Closed) type, meaning it is locked when power is applied and unlocks when power is removed. This is a fail-safe configuration. Install the lock securely on your door frame and door, ensuring proper alignment for the bolt mechanism.

The delay time for the lock can be preset to 0s, 3s, or 6s using the switch on the lock unit. Ensure this is set according to your requirements during installation.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Connecting to Tuya APP
- Adjust the time setting on the remote receiver to 10 seconds.
- Press and hold the RF-Key button on the remote receiver until the LED lights flash red and green alternately.
- Release the RF-Key. The board is now in pairing mode.
- Open the Tuya APP on your smartphone.
- Click "Add Device" and search for nearby devices.
- Select the WiFi device and follow the in-app instructions to complete the pairing.
Once connected, you can use the Tuya APP to unlock the door, manage access members, and view door opening records.
6.2 Connecting Remote Transmitters
- Adjust the time setting on the remote receiver to 0 seconds.
- Press the RF-Key on the remote receiver. The green light will flash.
- While the green light is flashing, press the desired button on your remote transmitter. The red light on the receiver will illuminate, indicating successful pairing.
After pairing, you can use the remote transmitter to unlock the door. The system supports up to 40 remote transmitters.
6.3 Operating Modes
The remote receiver supports different operating modes, which can be selected via a switch on the board:
- Latched Mode: (Middle position) In this mode, after unlocking, the door remains unlocked until manually re-locked. Remote or Tuya app unlock is not valid for re-locking.
- Toggle Mode: (Leftmost position) After remote unlocking, the remote needs to be pressed once more to re-lock the door.
- Momentary Mode: (Rightmost position) This model will automatically lock after a delay of 5 seconds or 10 seconds (adjustable via switch) after unlocking.
6.4 Deleting Remote Transmitters
To delete all paired remote transmitters from the receiver:
- Adjust the time setting on the remote receiver to 0 seconds.
- Press and hold the RF-Key button for 15 seconds until the green light flashes.
- Release the RF-Key. All previously paired remotes are now deleted.
After deletion, the remotes will no longer be able to open the door, but the Tuya APP and push switch will still function.
7. Maintenance
- Regularly check all wiring connections for tightness and signs of wear.
- Keep the electric drop bolt lock and exit button clean and free from debris.
- Ensure the remote transmitters' batteries (2x CR2016) are replaced when their performance degrades.
- Periodically test the system's functionality using both the remote transmitters, exit button, and Tuya APP.
- Keep the firmware of the Tuya module updated via the Tuya APP for optimal performance and security.
