7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your access control system, refer to the following troubleshooting guide:
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| System not powering on | Check if the power adapter is securely plugged into a working outlet and the R01Tuya board. Verify the power adapter's output voltage (DC12V). |
| Electric lock not engaging/disengaging | Ensure all lock wiring connections are correct and secure. Verify the NC/NO switch on the R01 board is set appropriately for your lock type (NC for the included strike lock). Check if the lock receives power when activated. |
| Remote control not working | Replace the batteries in the remote transmitter (2pcs CR2016). Ensure the remote is paired with the R01Tuya board. Check for obstructions or excessive distance between the remote and the receiver. |
| Tuya APP cannot connect or unlock | Verify your R01Tuya board is connected to your WiFi network. Check your smartphone's internet connection. Ensure the Tuya Smart app is updated. Re-pair the device with the app if necessary. |
| Exit button not responding | Check the wiring connections for the exit button to the R01Tuya board. Ensure the button itself is not physically damaged. |
| Buzzer not sounding | Check the buzzer's wiring connection to the R01Tuya board. Ensure the buzzer is not damaged. |
