1. Introduction

The PuroAir 400 is designed to improve indoor air quality by filtering up to 99.9% of common airborne pollutants, including dust, pollen, smoke, pet dander, and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). It features a powerful 3-layer filtration system and is suitable for large rooms, covering up to 2,000 sq ft.
2. Safety Information
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, please observe the following safety precautions:
- Always unplug the air purifier before moving it, opening the grille, changing filters, or performing any cleaning.
- Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. Discard fan or return to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- Use the air purifier only for its intended household use as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not place the air purifier near heat sources such as stoves, radiators, or direct sunlight.
- Do not immerse the air purifier in water or other liquids.
- Keep the air purifier out of reach of children and pets.
- Ensure the air inlet and outlet are not blocked during operation.
- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

3.1 Components

3.2 Control Panel
The control panel is located on the top of the unit and features various buttons and indicators for operation.

- Power Button: Turns the unit On/Off.
- Speed Button: Adjusts fan speed (Low, Medium, High, Auto).
- Timer Button: Sets operation time (e.g., 2H, 4H, 8H).
- Sleep Mode Button: Activates quiet operation for nighttime use.
- Filter Reset Indicator: Illuminates when filter replacement is needed.

4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
- Remove all packing materials, including any tape or protective films.
- Verify that all components are present and undamaged.
4.2 Filter Installation
The PuroAir 400 comes with a multi-layer filter that needs to be unwrapped before first use.

- Locate the filter compartment cover, typically on the back or side of the unit.
- Open the cover and remove the sealed filter.
- Remove the plastic packaging from the filter.
- Insert the filter back into the compartment, ensuring it is correctly oriented.
- Close the filter compartment cover securely.
4.3 Placement
For optimal performance, place the air purifier on a flat, stable surface in the room where air purification is desired. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit (at least 6 inches) for proper air circulation.

4.4 Power Connection
Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The unit is designed for 110V operation in the USA. If using in regions with different voltage, ensure a compatible voltage converter is used.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
- Press the Power Button once to turn the air purifier ON. The unit will start in Auto mode or the last used setting.
- Press the Power Button again to turn the air purifier OFF.
5.2 Adjusting Fan Speed
- Press the Speed Button repeatedly to cycle through fan speed settings: Low, Medium, High, and Auto.
- In Auto Mode, the air purifier's smart particle sensor will monitor air quality and automatically adjust the fan speed based on detected pollutant levels.

5.3 Setting the Timer
- Press the Timer Button repeatedly to set the desired operating time (e.g., 2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours). The unit will automatically turn off after the set time.
5.4 Sleep Mode
- Press the Sleep Mode Button to activate a quiet operation setting, ideal for use in bedrooms or during sleep. The display lights may dim or turn off in this mode.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Filter Replacement
The PuroAir 400 uses a 3-layer filter system (pre-filter, HEPA filter, and activated carbon) that requires periodic replacement to maintain optimal performance. The Filter Reset Indicator on the control panel will illuminate when it's time to replace the filter.

- Unplug the air purifier from the power outlet.
- Open the filter compartment cover.
- Remove the old filter and dispose of it properly.
- Unwrap the new filter and insert it into the compartment, ensuring correct orientation.
- Close the filter compartment cover securely.
- Plug the air purifier back in.
- Press and hold the Filter Reset Button (if available, or the Power/Timer button as per specific model instructions) for 3-5 seconds until the indicator light turns off, resetting the filter timer.
Replacement filters can be purchased from authorized PuroAir retailers or the official PuroAir website. The typical replacement interval is approximately 6-12 months, depending on usage and air quality.
6.2 Cleaning the Unit
- Wipe the exterior of the air purifier with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Periodically vacuum the air inlet and outlet grilles to remove dust accumulation.
