3. Setup
3.1 Initial Preparation
Before first use, remove the protective film from the dash cam lens and screen. Familiarize yourself with the buttons on the right side of the screen: Up, Menu, Down, and Power/OK.

3.2 Formatting the MicroSD Card
It is crucial to format the MicroSD card before its first use in the camera. If using a non-original card, format it on your computer first, then format it again in the camera.
- Connect the dash cam to power; it will automatically turn on.
- Press the Menu button to enter the menu.
- Use the Up button to navigate to the "Format" option.
- Press the Power/OK button twice to confirm formatting.

3.3 Setting the Date and Time
Ensure the correct date and time are set for accurate recording timestamps.
- From the menu, locate the "Date/Time" option.
- Press the Power/OK button to enter.
- Use the Up and Down buttons to adjust the date and time.
- Press the Power/OK button to confirm.
- Press the Menu button to return to the previous menu.

4. Installation
4.1 Mount Installation
The dash cam comes with a suction cup mount for easy attachment to your windshield.
- Remove the protective film from the suction cup mount.
- Securely insert the mount into the camera slot.
- Loosen the screw on the mount, adjust the angle as desired, then tighten the screw.
- Clean the windshield thoroughly to ensure it is free of dust and debris.
- Attach the suction cup to the windshield and lock the mount in place.

4.2 Car Charger Installation
Use the provided car charger to power the dash cam.
- Connect the USB cable to the detachable car charger.
- Connect the other end of the cable to the power port of the dash cam.
- Use the included crowbar to neatly tuck the charger cable along the car's interior trim.

4.3 Rear Camera Installation
The rear camera provides additional coverage for the back of your vehicle.
- Peel off the protective film from the rear camera lens.
- Plug the rear camera cable into the front cam port tightly.
- Use the included crowbar to tuck the rear camera cable neatly inside the car, routing it to the rear windshield.
- Clean the rear windshield where the camera will be mounted.
- Attach the rear camera using the included adhesive sticker.
- Adjust the rear camera to ensure a clear view of the rear road. The screw can be tightened with the included pin or your screwdriver if needed.

5. Basic Operation
5.1 Power On/Off
The dash cam is designed for automatic operation with your vehicle.
- When the car engine is turned on, both cameras will automatically power on and begin recording.
- When the car is turned off, the camera will automatically power off.

5.2 Switching Display Modes
You can switch between different display views on the dash cam screen.
- Press the Up button to cycle through display options: Front only, Rear only, or Both (Picture-in-Picture or Split-screen).

5.3 Loop Recording
The dash cam records in a continuous loop. When the MicroSD card is full, the oldest unlocked files are automatically overwritten. This design saves time on card formatting, but remember to save important videos promptly.
- While recording, locked and regular videos are stored separately without interfering with each other.
- Set loop recording to "3 minutes" for daily use (recommended).

5.4 G-Sensor / Accident Locked Recording
The built-in G-sensor detects sudden movements or impacts, automatically locking the current video footage to prevent it from being overwritten.
- During recording, a flashing yellow dot indicates that the video is locked.
- Manual lock is also available via a long press of the Down button.
- Set the G-sensor level to "low" for daily use (recommended).

5.5 Screensaver
The screensaver feature turns off the display after a set time during recording.
- When the screensaver is on, the camera screen turns black after the set time, and a blue light flashes for recording.
- If you prefer the camera screen to remain on, turn off this function in the menu.

6. Playback and Deletion
6.1 Playback on Camera
You can review recorded footage directly on the dash cam screen.
- When the camera is on, long-press the Menu button for about 5 seconds to enter playback mode.
- Use the Up and Down buttons to navigate to the desired folder (e.g., VIDEO, VIDEO_LOCK, PHOTO).
- Press the Power/OK button to enter the folder.
- Use the Up and Down buttons to find the desired file.
- Press the Power/OK button to play the file.
- Press the Menu button to go back to the previous menu level.

6.2 Deletion
You can delete unwanted files directly from the camera.
- In playback mode, use the Up and Down buttons to find the file you want to delete.
- Long-press the Menu button to delete the file.
Tips:
- Locked files need to be unlocked before deletion.
- Formatting the card will delete all files.

6.3 Playback on PC
For larger viewing and easier file management, you can play back recordings on a computer.
- Power off the dash cam before removing the MicroSD card.
- Remove the card by pressing it once with your thumbnail until you hear a "Click" sound.
- Insert the MicroSD card into the included card reader.
- Insert the card reader into your PC's USB port.
- Use a media player like Fig Player or Pot Player for playback and to transfer files.

7. Parking Monitoring (Requires Hardwire Kit)
The iD220 Dash Cam offers 24/7 parking protection, but requires a Type-C hardwire kit (not included) for continuous power when the car is off. Contact iZEEKER support with your order number to enable this feature.

7.1 Mode 1: Impact Detection Mode
In this mode, the camera activates and records when an impact is detected.
- When a shock is detected, the camera automatically turns on to record locked video until the shock stops.
- Ensure the Parking Monitor option is set to "on" in the menu.

7.2 Mode 2: Time-Lapse Video
This mode records footage at a lower frame rate to conserve memory while providing continuous coverage.
- The dash cam records at 1 frame per second, effectively guarding your car all day without using excessive memory.

8. Troubleshooting & Maintenance
8.1 Common Issues
- "Lack of Space" Error: This usually means the MicroSD card is full and loop recording is not functioning correctly, or there are too many locked files. Format the card as described in Section 3.2.
- Camera not turning on: Ensure the power cable is securely connected and the car's power outlet is functioning.
- Poor video quality: Check if the protective film has been removed from the lens. Ensure the windshield is clean. Verify resolution settings in the menu.
8.2 Recommended Settings for Daily Use
- G-sensor level: "low"
- Loop recording: "3 minutes"
- Motion detection: "off" (while driving)
- Parking monitor: "on" (if hardwire kit is installed)
- Screensaver: "off" (if you want the screen to be on all the time when driving)
- Turn off the startup sound and beep sound for a quieter experience.
