1. Introduction

The AIRTOK KQ-31 Air Purifier is designed to improve indoor air quality by filtering out various airborne particles. It features a 360-degree air intake system, a multi-layer H13 HEPA filtration system, and an aromatherapy function. This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your air purifier.

2. Package Contents

3. Setup

  1. Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove the air purifier and all accessories from the packaging.
  2. Install/Check Filter: The power adapter is located inside the air purifier, within the filter. To access it, turn the unit upside down. Rotate the bottom cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it. Take out the filter and remove the power adapter. Ensure the filter is unwrapped (if applicable) and correctly placed back into the unit. Replace the bottom cover and rotate clockwise to lock it.
  3. Placement: Place the air purifier on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 15 cm (6 inches) of space around all sides for optimal air circulation.
  4. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the air purifier and then into a suitable electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

Power On/Off:

  • To turn the unit ON or OFF, long press the power touch area on the top panel.

Fan Speed Selection:

  • Once powered on, click the power touch area to cycle through the three fan speeds: Sleep, Cozy, and Turbo.
  • The indicator lights (Sleep, Cozy, Turbo) will illuminate to show the currently selected speed.
  • Sleep Mode: Operates at 25 dB for quiet purification during rest.

Aromatherapy Function:

  • Locate the aromatherapy sponge compartment on the top of the unit.
  • Add a few drops of your preferred essential oil (not included) onto the aromatherapy sponge.
  • The air purifier's airflow will diffuse the fragrance throughout the room.

5. Maintenance

Filter Replacement:

The air purifier's performance depends on the condition of its filter. It is recommended to replace the filter every 3 to 4 months, or when the three indicator lights on the control panel flash simultaneously.

  1. Turn off and unplug the air purifier.
  2. Turn the unit upside down and rotate the bottom cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
  3. Carefully remove the old filter.
  4. Insert a new AIRTOK KQ-31 replacement filter (ASIN: B0C3CNSRPS) into the unit. Ensure it is seated correctly.
  5. Replace the bottom cover and rotate clockwise to lock it.
  6. Plug in and power on the unit. Reset the filter indicator by long-pressing the power button for 5 seconds until the lights stop flashing.

Cleaning:

  • Always unplug the air purifier before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • The pre-filter layer of the HEPA filter can be gently vacuumed to remove larger dust particles, but the entire filter should not be washed with water.

6. Troubleshooting
