Setup

Unpacking and Placement:

Carefully remove the appliance from its packaging. Place the refrigerator on a stable, level surface, ensuring adequate ventilation around all sides. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or near heat sources.

Power Connection:

The FC15 can be powered by either DC (12V/24V) or AC (110-240V) power sources.

  1. DC Power (Vehicle): Connect the provided DC power cord to the appliance's DC input port and then to your vehicle's 12V/24V outlet (cigarette lighter socket).
  2. AC Power (Home/Wall Outlet): Connect the provided AC adapter to the appliance's AC input port, then plug the adapter into a standard 110-240V AC wall outlet.

Initial Power On:

Once connected to a power source, the digital display on the control panel will illuminate. Press the power button to turn on the appliance.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel:

The control panel is located on the top of the appliance and features a digital display, power button, and temperature adjustment buttons (+ and -).

Temperature Setting:

Use the + and - buttons to set your desired temperature. The display will show the current internal temperature. The appliance can function as either a refrigerator (32°F to 50°F / 0°C to 10°C) or a freezer (-4°F to 32°F / -20°C to 0°C).

Battery Protection Mode:

The FC15 features three levels of battery protection (H - High, M - Medium, L - Low) to prevent excessive discharge of your vehicle's battery. To adjust this setting:

  1. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until "Pr" appears on the display.
  2. Press the power button again to cycle through H, M, and L settings.
  3. Release the button when your desired setting is displayed. The setting will be saved automatically.

Note: Improper protection setting or low power voltage may cause an E1 error. Lower the battery protection setting or recharge the battery if this occurs.

Lid Operation:

The lid is removable and can be oriented in two ways for convenient access. Simply lift the lid from its hinges to remove and reattach as needed.

Noise Level:

Stability and Tie-down Points:

The refrigerator maintains excellent performance even at a 40° tilt angle, making it suitable for bumpy roads or inclines. It features four expansion holes on both sides that can be used as tie-down points to firmly secure the unit in a vehicle (ropes not included).

Maintenance

Cleaning:

Regularly clean the interior and exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp objects.

Defrosting:

If ice builds up on the interior walls, it can reduce cooling efficiency. To defrost:

  1. Turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the power source.
  2. Remove all contents.
  3. Allow the ice to melt naturally. You can place a towel inside to absorb water.
  4. Once defrosted, wipe the interior dry before restarting the appliance.
