Thank you for choosing the POGOLAB 49 Key Roll Up Keyboard Piano. This portable digital piano is designed for beginners and enthusiasts, offering a compact and versatile musical experience. It features 49 standard keys, 47 unique tones, 14 educational demo songs, and recording capabilities. This manual provides essential information to help you set up, operate, and maintain your instrument.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

  1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Inspect the keyboard and accessories for any signs of damage. If any damage is found, contact customer support immediately.
  3. Unroll the keyboard on a flat, stable surface.

4.2 Charging the Battery

The keyboard piano is equipped with a built-in rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery.

  1. Connect the provided USB cable to the DC 5V charging port on the control panel.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. Allow the device to charge fully before first use. The charging indicator (if present) will typically change color or turn off when charging is complete.

4.3 Powering On/Off

  • To turn on: Slide the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position.
  • To turn off: Slide the ON/OFF switch to the 'OFF' position.

4.4 Connecting Headphones or External Speakers

For private practice or louder output, use the 3.5mm headphone jack.

  • Insert a standard 3.5mm audio jack from your headphones or external speakers into the Headphone Jack on the control panel.
  • The internal speaker will automatically mute when headphones are connected.

4.5 Connecting a Microphone

If desired, an external microphone can be connected.

  • Insert a standard microphone jack into the Microphone Jack on the control panel.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Playback

  • Ensure the piano is powered on.
  • Press the keys to produce sound.

5.2 Adjusting Volume

  • Use the Volume Adjustment slider or buttons (indicated as '+' and '-' next to 'Tone' and 'RHY' in Figure 3.2) to increase or decrease the sound output.

5.3 Changing Tones

The piano offers 47 unique tones.

  • Press the Tone button.
  • Use the '+' and '-' buttons to cycle through the available tones.
  • Play a key to hear the selected tone.

5.4 Selecting Rhythms

The piano includes 128 rhythms.

  • Press the RHY button.
  • Use the '+' and '-' buttons to cycle through the available rhythms.
  • Press the Play button to start the rhythm. Press Play again to stop.

5.5 Playing Demo Songs

There are 14 educational demonstration songs pre-loaded.

  • Press the Demo button to start playing the demonstration songs sequentially.
  • Press the Demo button again to skip to the next demo song.
  • To stop demo playback, press the Start/Stop button (indicated as 'Play' with a pause symbol in Figure 3.2).

5.6 Recording and Playback

Capture your performances with the recording function.

  1. Press the Record button to begin recording. A light indicator may show recording is active.
  2. Play your desired melody on the keyboard.
  3. Press the Record button again to stop recording.
  4. To listen to your recorded performance, press the Play Recording button (indicated as 'Play' with a play symbol in Figure 3.2).

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

The silicone keys are designed for easy cleaning.

  • Wipe the keys and surface with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Ensure the device is powered off and disconnected from charging before cleaning.

6.2 Storage

The roll-up design allows for convenient storage.

  • After use, gently roll up the keyboard.
  • Store it in its original box or a protective bag/backpack to prevent damage.
  • Avoid storing in extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.

6.3 Battery Care

  • To prolong battery life, avoid completely draining the battery frequently.
  • Charge the device regularly, even if not in frequent use.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Ensure the power source is functional.
Sound is distorted or unclear.
  • Reduce the volume level.
  • If using headphones or external speakers, try a different set or check their connections.
