Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Clean Before First Use: Wash the blender jar, lid, and measuring cup in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The motor base should only be wiped with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water.
  3. Assemble: Place the motor base on a clean, dry, and stable surface. Ensure the jar is securely seated on the motor base. Place the lid firmly on the jar.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the blender into a standard 120-volt AC electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Cut solid ingredients into small pieces (approximately 1-inch cubes) before placing them in the blender jar. For best results, always add liquids first.
  2. Load Jar: Place prepared ingredients into the blender jar. Do not fill above the 48-ounce (6 cup) maximum fill line.
  3. Secure Lid: Place the lid firmly onto the blender jar. Ensure the measuring cup is inserted into the lid's opening if not adding ingredients during blending.
  4. Select Speed: Turn the control dial to your desired speed setting (OFF, PULSE, CHOP, MIX, GRATE, BLEND, LIQUEFY). Start with a lower speed and gradually increase if needed.
  5. Use Pulse Function: For quick bursts of power or to chop ingredients, turn the dial to the 'PULSE' setting and release. This allows for greater control over consistency.
  6. Add Ingredients During Blending: If additional ingredients are needed while blending, remove the 1-ounce measuring cup from the lid and carefully pour or drop ingredients through the opening. Replace the measuring cup immediately.
  7. Stop Blending: When blending is complete, turn the control dial to the 'OFF' position.
  8. Unplug: Always unplug the blender from the power outlet after use and before disassembling or cleaning.

Tips for Best Results:

  • For thick mixtures, use the pulse function to break up ingredients before continuous blending.
  • Do not overload the blender. If the motor strains, reduce the amount of ingredients.
  • When blending ice, ensure there is sufficient liquid to allow the blades to move freely.
