1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read this manual carefully before operating your Orbegozo ADR 127 Portable Air Conditioner. Keep this manual for future reference.

  • Ensure the unit is placed on a stable, level surface.
  • Do not block air inlets or outlets. Maintain at least 20 cm clearance from walls and other objects.
  • Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug.
  • Do not insert objects into the air vents.
  • Unplug the unit before cleaning or maintenance.
  • This appliance uses R290 refrigerant. Do not puncture the refrigerant circuit.
  • Keep children and pets away from the unit during operation.
  • Do not use the unit in wet environments or near water.

3. Setup and Installation

Proper setup is crucial for optimal performance and safety.

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the air conditioner on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 20 cm of space around the unit for proper airflow. Avoid direct sunlight.
  3. Exhaust Hose Installation:
    • Attach the exhaust hose connector to the air outlet on the back of the unit.
    • Extend the exhaust hose and connect the window kit adapter to the other end.
    • Install the window kit in a suitable window opening, ensuring a tight seal to prevent hot air from re-entering the room.
  4. Drainage Connection (Optional for continuous drainage): For continuous dehumidification or cooling in high humidity, connect a drain hose (not included) to the continuous drain port at the back of the unit and direct it to a suitable drain or container.
  5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 230V ~ 50 Hz electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

The unit can be operated via the control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.

Control Panel / Remote Control Functions:

  • Power Button (): Turns the unit ON or OFF.
  • Mode Button (): Cycles through operating modes: Cool, Heat, Fan, Dehumidify.
  • Fan Speed Button (): Adjusts fan speed (Low, Medium, High).
  • Temperature Up/Down Buttons ( / ): Adjusts the desired temperature (16°C - 32°C).
  • Timer Button (): Sets the 24-hour ON/OFF timer. Press to set the desired time increment.
  • Sleep Mode: (If available on remote) Activates a quiet operation mode for comfortable sleep.
  • Swing Function: (If available on remote) Activates automatic louver swing for wider air distribution.

Operating Modes:

  • Cool Mode: For cooling the room. Set desired temperature and fan speed.
  • Heat Mode: For heating the room. Set desired temperature and fan speed.
  • Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling or heating. Select desired fan speed.
  • Dehumidify Mode: Removes excess moisture from the air. The fan speed is typically fixed in this mode. Ensure continuous drainage is set up or empty the water tank regularly.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures efficient operation and extends the lifespan of your unit.

  • Cleaning the Air Filter:
    • The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage.
    • Unplug the unit.
    • Remove the filter from the back of the unit.
    • Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before reinserting.
  • Draining the Water Tank:
    • When the "Full Water Tank" indicator lights up, the unit will stop operating.
    • Unplug the unit.
    • Place a shallow pan or tray under the drain port at the bottom rear of the unit.
    • Remove the drain plug and allow all water to drain out.
    • Replace the drain plug firmly.
  • Cleaning the Unit Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: Before long-term storage, drain all water, clean the filter, and allow the unit to run in fan mode for a few hours to dry the internal components. Store in a dry, cool place, preferably in its original packaging.
