2. Safety Instructions

• Always unplug the appliance immediately after use.
• Do not use while bathing or in a shower.
• Do not place or store the appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
• Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.

4. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the hair straightener from its packaging.
2. Inspect: Check the appliance for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
3. Power Connection: Ensure your hands are dry. Plug the appliance into a suitable electrical outlet (100-240V).

5. Operating Instructions

General Use:

1. Ensure hair is clean and detangled. For best results, hair should be dry or slightly damp if using the wet/dry feature.
2. Press and hold the power button to turn on the appliance.
3. Adjust the temperature by pressing the power button repeatedly to cycle through the 5 available settings (140°C, 160°C, 180°C, 200°C, 220°C). The indicator lights will show the selected temperature.
4. Allow the plates to heat up. The PTC heating element ensures rapid heating in approximately 30 seconds.
5. Divide your hair into small, manageable sections.
6. Once styling is complete, press and hold the power button to turn off the appliance and unplug it from the outlet.
7. Allow the appliance to cool down completely before storing.

For Straightening:

• Take a section of hair and place it between the heating plates, close to the roots.
• Gently clamp the plates together and glide the straightener down the hair section from root to tip in one smooth motion.
• Repeat for all sections until desired straightness is achieved.

For Curling:

• Take a section of hair and clamp it between the plates, about halfway down the section.
• Rotate the straightener 180 degrees away from your face, wrapping the hair around the outside of the barrel.
• Slowly pull the straightener downwards through the hair section, maintaining the rotation.
• Release the clamp and allow the curl to cool before touching it.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Ensure the appliance is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning. Wipe the plates and exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the appliance in water.
• Storage: Store the appliance in a cool, dry place, away from moisture. Do not wrap the power cord tightly around the appliance, as this can damage the cord.
