Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- Read all instructions.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or heating unit in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.

- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.

- Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as adding refrigerated foods into a heated pot.
- The stoneware insert is designed for use with this appliance only. It must not be used on a gas or electric stovetop or in a heated oven.
- Do not place hot stoneware insert on a wet or cold surface.
- Do not use a cracked stoneware insert or a chipped glass lid.

Setup and First Use
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and labels from the slow cooker.
- Clean: Wash the stoneware insert and glass lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the heating base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the heating base in water.
- Assemble: Place the clean stoneware insert into the heating base. Position the glass lid on top of the stoneware insert.
- Placement: Place the slow cooker on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls and other appliances to allow for proper ventilation.

Cooking Process:
- Prepare Food: Place your ingredients into the stoneware insert.
- Secure Lid: Place the glass lid on the stoneware insert.
- Plug In: Plug the slow cooker into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. The digital display will illuminate.
- Set Temperature: Press the TEMP button to select your desired cooking temperature: LOW or HIGH. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
- Set Time: Press the TIME button to adjust the cooking duration. You can set the time from 30 minutes up to 10 hours. Each press will increase the time in 30-minute increments. Hold the button to increase rapidly.
- Start Cooking: The slow cooker will automatically begin cooking after a few seconds of inactivity following time selection. The display will count down the remaining cooking time.
- Automatic Keep Warm: Once the set cooking time is complete, the slow cooker will automatically switch to the WARM setting. The WARM indicator light will illuminate, and the display will begin counting up the time spent in warm mode, up to 6 hours.
- Stop Cooking: To stop the cooking cycle at any time, press the STOP button.

Lid Latch for Transport:
The integrated lid latch allows for secure transport of your slow cooker. To engage, align the lid with the base and slide the latch mechanism on the lid handles to lock them onto the base handles. Ensure the lid is securely fastened before moving the appliance.
Care and Maintenance
Cleaning:
- Always unplug the slow cooker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- The stoneware insert and glass lid are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash them in warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
- To clean the heating base, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Never immerse the heating base in water or any other liquid.
- If food sticks to the stoneware insert, fill it with warm, soapy water and let it soak for a few hours before cleaning.
Storage:
Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing. Store the slow cooker in a cool, dry place. You can store the stoneware insert inside the heating base with the lid on top to save space.
Troubleshooting
