Setup

1. Unboxing: Carefully remove the curling wand and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect the device for any signs of damage.
2. Placement: Place the curling wand on a heat-resistant, flat surface away from water.
3. Power Connection: Plug the 80-inch swivel cord into a suitable electrical outlet (100-240V compatible).
4. Power On: Long press the power button to turn on the device. The LED display will illuminate, showing "OFF" initially, then the temperature will begin to rise.
5. Temperature Selection: Use the temperature control buttons to select your desired heat setting. The device offers 9 heating settings from 280°F to 430°F. Refer to the "Operating Instructions" for recommended temperatures.
6. Timer Setting: Optionally, set the styling timer (4, 6, 8, or 10 seconds) using the timer button. This feature helps ensure consistent results and prevents overheating.

Operating Instructions

1. Prepare Hair: Ensure your hair is clean, dry, and detangled. For best results and heat protection, apply a heat protectant spray.
2. Section Hair: Divide your hair into manageable sections, typically 1-2 inches wide, depending on your hair thickness and desired wave size.
3. Position the Wand: Open the clamp and place a section of hair between the barrels, starting from the roots or mid-length, depending on where you want the wave to begin.
4. Clamp and Hold: Close the clamp firmly, ensuring the hair is evenly distributed across the barrels. Hold for the duration of your selected timer setting (e.g., 4-10 seconds). The device will beep when the time is up.
5. Release and Repeat: Release the clamp and gently slide the wand down the hair section, repositioning it just below the previously waved area. Clamp and hold again. Repeat this process until the entire section of hair is waved.
6. Continue Styling: Move to the next section of hair and repeat steps 3-5 until all desired sections are styled.
7. Cool Down: Allow the waves to cool completely before touching or brushing them to ensure they set properly and last longer.

Recommended Temperature & Timer Settings:

• Relax Waves: Approximately 230°F with a 4-second timer.
• Bouncy Volume: Approximately 350°F with a 6-second timer.
• Adjust settings based on your hair type and desired results. For finer hair, use lower temperatures and shorter times. For thicker hair, higher temperatures and longer times may be needed.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Ensure the device is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning. Wipe the ceramic barrels and exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
• Storage: Store the curling wand in a cool, dry place. Use the handle lock feature to keep the barrels closed for compact storage and to prevent damage.
• Cord Care: Do not wrap the power cord around the device tightly, as this can damage the cord. Store the cord loosely.
