3. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to assemble and install your basketball hoop. Ensure all parts are accounted for before beginning.

4.1 Electronic Scoreboard
The electronic scoreboard automatically tracks scores and provides encouraging sounds. It offers two scoring modes:
- Mode 1 (Left Switch Position): A 60-second countdown. For the first 45 seconds, each shot is worth 2 points. During the last 15 seconds, each shot is worth 3 points.
- Mode 2 (Right Switch Position): A 5-second countdown for quick play.
To select a mode, push the switch on the scoreboard to the left or right as indicated in Figure 3.
4.2 Detachable Spring-Action Rim
The hoop features a detachable rim designed to simulate a real basketball experience. It can bend up to 60 degrees, allowing for dunking. After a dunk, the spring mechanism will return the rim to its original position.
