Installation Guide
Follow these steps to properly install your hour meter:
Step 1: Connect the Cable to the Hour Meter
Snap one end of the provided connection cable into the designated card slot on the back of the hour meter. Ensure it is firmly seated.
Step 2: Wrap Cable Around Spark Plug Wire
Wrap the other end of the cable around the spark plug wire of your engine approximately 5 times. This inductive connection allows the meter to detect engine operation. Make sure the pick-up wire does not make direct contact with the engine itself, only the spark plug wire insulation.
Step 3: Secure the Cable
Use the provided cable ties to secure the wrapped cable to the spark plug wire, preventing it from coming loose due to vibrations or movement.

Operation

After approximately 6 minutes of continuous engine operation, the display will update to 0.1 hours. The meter will continue to accumulate total operating hours in 0.1-hour increments up to 99999 hours.
All accumulated historical data is automatically saved and retained even when the engine is turned off, ensuring accurate long-term tracking of your equipment's usage.
