Assembly Instructions

Assembly of the GYMAX trampoline requires at least two adults. Follow these instructions carefully to ensure proper and safe setup. Installation tools are included, and the self-locking system requires no screws for certain connections.

Step-by-Step Assembly Guide

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully unpack all boxes and verify that all parts listed in the 'Package Contents' section are present and undamaged.
  2. Assemble the Frame: Connect the circular frame sections. The self-locking system allows for secure connections without additional screws.
  3. Attach W-Shaped Legs: Securely attach the W-shaped legs to the main frame. Ensure all connections are tight and stable.
  4. Install Jumping Mat: Lay the jumping mat in the center of the frame. Begin attaching the springs to the mat and frame, following a symmetrical pattern (e.g., opposite sides) to ensure even tension. The 15FT model uses 96 springs.
  5. Place Safety Pad: Cover the springs and frame with the safety pad, ensuring all metal parts are adequately covered to prevent contact during use.
  6. Assemble Enclosure Poles: Connect the enclosure poles. These poles feature a reinforced and unbreakable connection design.
  7. Attach Enclosure Net: Secure the high-density enclosure net to the poles and the trampoline frame. Ensure the net is taut and properly secured to prevent falls. The internal net design prevents contact with springs and poles.
  8. Install Basketball Hoop: Attach the basketball hoop to one of the enclosure poles. Ensure it is securely fastened. The hoop features a thickened PP backboard and a 12-inch basketball rim with a wear-resistant net.
  9. Attach Ladder: Hook the 2-step ladder to the trampoline frame for easy and safe access. The non-slip plastic stairs are wider for stability.
  10. Final Inspection: Before first use, double-check all connections, springs, net, and padding to ensure everything is correctly assembled and secure.

Operating Instructions

Follow these guidelines for safe and enjoyable use of your GYMAX trampoline.

Using Your Trampoline

  • Enter Safely: Always use the ladder to climb onto the trampoline.
  • Jump in the Center: Aim to jump in the center of the mat for optimal bounce and stability.
  • Maintain Control: Always jump within your skill level and maintain control of your bounce.
  • Exit Safely: Stop jumping completely before using the ladder to exit the trampoline. The double zipper with buckles ensures secure entry and exit.

Using the Basketball Hoop

  • Shoot Responsibly: Use the provided basketball and pump to enjoy shooting hoops.
  • No Dunking or Hanging: Do not dunk or hang on the basketball rim, as this can cause damage to the hoop or lead to injury.

Maintenance and Care

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safety of your trampoline.

Regular Inspection

  • Frame: Check for any signs of rust, bends, or cracks in the galvanized steel frame.
  • Springs: Inspect all springs for stretching, damage, or corrosion. Replace any compromised springs immediately.
  • Jumping Mat: Look for tears, holes, or excessive wear on the PP jumping mat. Ensure the 8-row stitching is intact.
  • Enclosure Net: Examine the high-density net for rips, holes, or loose connections. Ensure the zipper and buckles function correctly.
  • Safety Padding: Check the 3-layer safety pad and 10mm anti-collision EPE foam covers on the poles for damage or displacement.

Cleaning

Clean the jumping mat, safety pad, and net with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the materials. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry.

Storage

If possible, disassemble and store the trampoline indoors during prolonged periods of non-use or severe weather conditions to extend its lifespan. The weather-resistant PP jumping mat has passed a 5000-hour UV test, and the hot-dip galvanized steel frame resists rust, but protection from extreme elements is always recommended.

Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your trampoline.

Common Issues and Solutions

  • Uneven Bounce: Ensure all springs are correctly attached and evenly tensioned. Check for any bent or damaged springs.
  • Squeaking Noises: Lubricate spring connections or frame joints with a silicone-based lubricant if persistent squeaking occurs.
  • Net Sagging: Verify that the enclosure net is properly secured to all poles and the frame. Adjust tension if necessary.
  • Parts Missing/Damaged: If you discover missing or damaged parts upon delivery, contact the manufacturer's customer support immediately.
