3. Setup
Follow these steps to prepare your drone for its first flight:
- Install Obstacle Avoidance Sensor: The collision sensor comes separately. Gently plug it into the designated port on top of the drone until it snaps into place.
- Install Batteries: Insert the provided modular batteries into the drone's battery compartment. Ensure they are securely latched. The remote control requires 3 AAA batteries (not included); unscrew the battery cover on the back of the remote to install them.
- Unfold Drone Arms: Carefully unfold the drone's arms until they click into their locked positions.
- Attach Phone to Remote: Extend the phone stand on the remote control and securely place your smartphone.
