5. Installation Instructions
The Olafus flood light is designed for easy plug-in installation, requiring no complex wiring. Follow these steps:
- Choose a Location: Select a suitable outdoor location (e.g., yard, garage, garden, eave, driveway) that provides the desired illumination coverage. Ensure the location allows the 1.5m power cord to reach a standard three-prong outdoor socket.
- Mount the Fixture: Use the provided expansion screws to securely mount the flood light base to the chosen surface.
- Adjust Light Heads: Loosen the screws on the side light heads and the main light head using a crosshead screwdriver. Adjust the light heads to direct the illumination as needed. The side heads can rotate up to 335 degrees, and the main head can tilt up to 90 degrees, allowing for a custom beam angle up to 270 degrees. Tighten the screws once adjusted.
- Connect Power: Plug the flood light's three-prong power cord into a compatible outdoor electrical outlet.

6.2 Operating Modes
- Dusk-to-Dawn (D2D) Mode: Press the 'D2D' button on the remote. In this mode, the built-in photocell sensor automatically turns the light ON at dusk and OFF at dawn.
- Always-On Mode: Press the 'Always On' button on the remote. In this mode, the light can be manually turned ON or OFF using the 'ON/OFF' button on the remote or by using the home switch connected to the outlet.
